The Simms Headwater™ Stockingfoot Wader provides all the comfort and protection you need without all the bells and whistles. This is the lightest and most breathable Gore-Tex® wader in the Simms range. It is also the most affordable Gore-Tex® wader in the Simms range.
This wader combines advanced Simms wader technology like the hourglass stockingfoot and articulated knees with a 3-layer Gore-Tex® lightweight and highly breathable Performance Shell. The wader also incorporates reinforced front leg panels for additional durability. The articulated knees means that the wader is less bulky and is more comfortable to wear. The built-in gravel guards will prevent stones and gravel from getting into your fishing boots.
Other features of this wader includes a 1.5″ adjustable elastic suspender, external hand pockets with a fleece liner to keep your hands warm and dry, and a large front external stretch mesh pocket which contains a hook and loop closure. Simms Women’s Headwater Wader
The Woman’s Simms Headwater™ wader are cut to fit a woman’s body. These waders are probably Simms best women’s waders to date, and provide more comfort and a greater freedom of movement for women anglers. The upper features women-specific cut with a higher chest.
These waders feature a 3-layer Gore-Tex® lightweight and highly breathable Performance Shell, along with a 5-layer Gore-Tex® front leg panel for additional durability. This wader features 5-layer Gore-Tex® fabric on the lower portion of the wader for increased durability, and 3-layer Gore-Tex® fabric on the upper part of the wader for increased breathability. The nylon/polyester micro-fibre fabric used adds increased puncture resistance.
New improvements made to the Simms G3 Guide design include the very comfortable and easy-articulating patented front and back leg seams. Simms have also added a great fleece lined hand warmer pocket and extremely comfortable hourglass foot-bed seams. The wader also has built-in guide model gravel guards to keep junk out of your boots, and a flip-out tippet tender pocket which includes a built-in retractor for your stream-side toolbox. The exterior chest pocket with a zippered closure can hold a large fly box.

3. Simms Waders – G3 Convertible Wader
The Simms G3 Convertible wader offers innovation and convenience, all wrapped into one wader! The G3 Convertible wader is worn primarily as a pant wader, but can be easily converted into a chest wader. By unzipping a pocket around the waist, a lightweight 3-layer Gore-Tex® extension can be released, which can ride up on the suspender of the wader to convert the wader into a chest wader.
Otherwise, this is the same great wader as the standard Simms G3 wader, with durable 5-layer Gore-Tex® fabric for the lower leg part of the wader, and more breathable 3-layer Gore-Tex® fabric for the upper part of the wader. The 3.9 oz. lightweight upper chest extension features a 3-layer Gore-Tex® performance fabric for minimal bulk and breathability. The wader features Simms guide model gravel guards to keep stones and gravel out of your boots, as well as Simms patented ‘front and back’ leg seam design for enhanced articulation, comfort and durability.

The G4 Zippered wader features the same 5-layer Gore-Tex® shell featured in the G4 Pro wader. The outer layer of the wader is a co-extruded nylon/polyester fabric for added puncture resistance.
The wader features two Shoeller power stretch pockets (which can hold fly boxes), tippet docking stations, a retractor docking station (to hold your essential fishing tools) and forceps tabs.
