Hey! It is me again, and I am here to talk to you today about some great bass fishing tips. So be ready as the instinctive behavior of this fish is going to be the focal point of these bass fishing tips. You see, there are many things that you need to know about the big mouth bass before you can really be a serious angler.
First things first, this fish really likes to operate in cover. Wherever possible bass will hang out under shade likes rocks or grass or other structure that keeps them out of the sun. Also, they know that at the break of these cover areas are great places to ambush bait fish. So a lot of the time you’ll catch bass just hanging out under some moss or a rock hoping for a quick, effortless lunch.
Next, big mouths love warm water. Now they don’t like it too hot either, but if you can fish water temperatures that are between 58 and 80 degrees, you’ll have your best chance at catching bass. Once you get beyond this temperature range, these fish aren’t going to respond very well.
Third, bass have a wide range of food that are on their diet. Sort of like the trash cans of the lake, they’ll eat most anything. The thing that must be true regardless of what your throw at them, it must appear to be alive, because they don’t like dead stuff. Just remember that when you are out there fishing for them, stick to live bait and artificial lures with good action.
Last, you will often find bass one at a time. What I mean by that is that this fish doesn’t school much. On a rare occasion you may find a school of bass, but generally speaking if you catch a bass, don’t stay in that spot forever, make a couple more casts there, and then go on to the next spot.
Make sure to utilize these great fishing tips and let me know how it goes for you.
